Easier to use as I already had a Montana 600 that works quite a bit like the 680
The only issuer I've had so far, which is why I put no to good value & performance reliability, is when I went to reset the trip data on the 1st hike it would not reset, so I just had to remember miles on it before starting on hike. I've owned the Montana 600 since it was new but it started having some inconsistencies, which is why I bought the 680 & did not want the larger 700 unit. But after back from hike & driving down the road on the way back home it finally reset & I had already did the touch screen calibration when I 1st got the unit along with other things needed done when guying these products new like firmware updates

I would still buy it again if ever needed for other KLR's of that year
I had to bend the fan mount brkts to fit to the radiator tabs and the o'ring used on the fan switch will not work on this radiator but I was able to use a 18mm x 1.5 thread die to thread the fan switch as close as possible to the base then used an 18mm copper sealing washer to seal the fan switch to the radiator. After all that I installed it, put in the coolant and test rode it several miles and seems to be working & no leaks yet and is keeping engine cool. Fit on an '016' Kaw KLR650. I only gave it 4 stars because of what I had to do to make it work but compared to the cost of the stock one from Kaw my customer was very happy

Unless your ready to do some tuning work don't buy these or any of these aftermarket carbs they sell
1 of 1 found this helpful These carbs do not function the same as the stock carbs. None of the jets have any identifying marks including the needles which are dramatically different then the original Yam needles and the slides raise tremendously slower then the original carbs slides and the original slides will not work in these carbs. And just for everyone's knowledge I've been working on motorcycles & ATV's over 40 years and running my own service repair shop pushing 30years in California. You could possibly get them to work but it will take a lot of trial & error and also for your info the 660 Raptor I was trying to make these work on was completely stock
