Perfect Upgrade for an older Acer 5820TG Laptop
4 of 4 found this helpful CPU worked perfectly upgrading from an i5 in my Acer Aspire 5820TG - it is an older laptop, so getting to the CPU was quite a chore, had to take it almost completely apart but once there, installation was easy, applied fresh thermal paste and while it does run hotter than the i5, with more demand on the fan, it has been great. Noticeably faster, and has given new life to an older laptop. Better than spending hundreds on a new unit, this was a perfect update for the Acer.
