A good film of a brilliant book - Steinbeck’s masterpiece brought to screen.
John Steinbeck’s Pulitzer prize winning book The Grapes of Wrath is brought to screen. Nothing could better the brilliantly evocative writing of Steinbeck’s book. However the film is a very fine piece of American social history from a shameful era. The Joad’s being one of thousands of displaced families who sought a better life in California.

Works well if a bit tinny
Easy to set up good volume. Only downside it sounds a bit tinny
