Works In Australia (with caveats)
As mentioned by someone else.
I bought this for use in Australia and it will not work with the mobile controller app that I downloaded from the App Store from Daikin using my Australian Apple ID. It requires the (I suppose) European version of the app.
I created a UK Apple ID and switched my phone over (and used a UK VPN connection) to download what looks like exactly the same app. Once I had the app it worked perfectly to configure the adapter after switching back to my Aus Apple ID.
I use the homebridge-daikin-local api to control it via Apple HomeKit without any issues.
Just a heads up for others considering this adapter outside of Europe.
