Measures small loads well

I bought this to monitor a load on a local circuit for a client of mine. It was recommended to me by a friend. When I received it, it looked like the best way to mount it was in the cover of a 4 11/16 inch junction box. It fits very nicely there and looks good as well. There was still room inside the box for a current transformer and a 1/2 amp fuse in an inline holder. I have tried some small loads on this meter and it measures low power usage fairly accurately. This is a good test of a watthour meter. About the only thing I don't like about this unit is the lack of a power factor measurement.

Good SD MPEG encoder

If you need a real-time MPEG 2 encoder, its hard to beat the Harmonic Divicom MV50. This particular variation of this encoder will do variable rate or fixed rate encoding at a wide range of bitrates. An almost three second lookahead ensures good quality but efficient encoding (lower latency modes are also available). This encoder will also work with the Harmonic MN20 multiplexer and additional encoders to give you statistical multiplexing. It comes stock with the ability to do two audio subcarriers, and more can be added with additional option cards. Analog or SD digital video, as well as analog, AES or pre-encoded audio are accepted as inputs. Output is DVB-ASI.
