Didn't fix my CD player.

Excellent with hearing aids
Excellent sound quality. Better than any headphone I have ever owned. It doesn't rattle the hearing aids.

Fixes Sony BPD-S5200 player that won't play DVDs.
When my Sony BPD-S5200 player stopped playing disks, I replaced this drive and now it works fine. The only tricky part of the replacement was figuring out how to slide the front panel cover on.
