Awesome Digital Day Clock
I love the Robin clock! It costs a little more than other digital day clocks, but you get a lot of features for the money. The display is great and the Robin is the only day clock I could find that didn't have all the screen text in upper case letters, which makes the Robin easier to read at a distance. The brightness is fully adjustable and the auto dimming level can also be adjusted, as well as allowing you to change the dimming start and end times. I found this clock very easy to set up because of the screen prompts and the buttons along the side. I liked that it adjusted for Daylight Saving Time automatically. Some day clocks require manual adjustment for DST.
There are issues with this clock that other reviewers have reported that have not been addressed. I received my clock on October 20 and a reviewer from January 20, nine months ago, raised the issue where between 12:01 and 12:59 PM the display shows PM but announces "The time is 12:xx AM". Another reviewer mentioned that the talking clock feature announces times one minute ahead at the beginning of the hour, so 3:00 PM is announced as 3:01 PM, and I verified this has not been fixed.
Since I bought the clock for the visual display I can live with the audio issues and poor sound quality. If they resolved these issues I would buy a second one for my office and give the Robin clock a 5-star review.
