Drive Belt Fits Qualcast Hedgemaster 380, 380 Plus, 420, 430 Plus, 470, 480 Plus

Perfect fit - but lightweight.

The belt fitted my Qualcast Hedgemaster perfectly, however it was not as wide as the original so I do not think it will be as strong. That said my hedge trimmer is years old and the original belt did a lot of work - I have yet to try the trimmer (with the new belt) on a hedge. The belt was quite cheap so suggest bying an extra one as a spare.

Not as advertised!

The circuit board I received didn't look like the one as advertised - which is the same as the original board I took out of our freezer. The connectors on the new board were the same and the board clipped into the mounting, however the freezer still does not work with this fitted. I cannot be sure what is causing the icing up in the fridge, and cannot rule out the pcb as the problem so cannot recommend this item or comment on value or quality hence negative marks.

Sound product

Looks a well made product which fitted the alternator shaft of my car (MK 1 Ford Focus fine. It needed a specialist, splined tool to tighten it on the shaft (approx £5 on ebay). Tip - if serpentine belt is intact it is worth noting the order of pulleys it drives before removing - there is a lot of wrong info about this online.
