Dune TV Version
2 of 2 found this helpful Compared to the Movie the TV version is poor.
Yes it contains more footage (reason why I bought it) but it makes the 'story' worse, yes there is more of the book in it, but the movie version is more dramatic and visually entertaining.
If like me you are a fan of the books the TV version is worth a look to see more of the story on screen, but for entertainment and spectacle stick to the movie version.
It is easy to spot the added footage as the eyes of the actors are not blue, adding this was an expensive process and the previously unused footage was left in its original format to save money.
Also the prologue is painfull to watch, it is needed to educate the American TV audience in case thay do not understand the story.
