Fantastic History Lesson for Younger Generation
I had seen this when it was televised years ago, and had forgotten so much of it, it was a joy to sit down with tea or coffee and no interuptions. The acting was superb and especially Patrick Swayze, it was just monumental, loved the whole thing, some of it is very upsetting to watch and see how the slaves were actually treated, but it's history, and it's just like it was, I especially liked the scenery in it, being born and raised in the mountains brought back a lot of pleasant childhood memories, again I hope a lot of people buy this set that probably know very little about that part of an era. Kirstie Alley was great and David Carridine who played a bad character still did a great performance
