I’ve been an obsessive collector of the old, the interesting, the aesthetically pleasing, and the useful for over 50 years. I’ve concentrated on tools, stoneware, and the arts and crafts era. But now that I’m over 3/4 of a century old, I need to reduce the size of my “accumulations.” I have been working on doing that via eBay for 24 years now. You just never know what may show up !!

    Wow! What a lovely large (15 lbs!) Inuit carved piece of soapstone. It was carefully packaged and insulated against jolts. It arrived perfectly at my door step. I immediately slathered it with mineral oil which brought out the beauty of the stone. It sits on my deck railing, keeping watch on the forest.
