Tractor Wars: John Deere, Henry Ford, International Harvester, and the Bi - GOOD
    Jun 21, 2025
dissappointed because I ordered The DVD and received the book.
Have been torn between returning the book or sending it to a friend who worked for years for the John Deere corporation. I was exceedingly disappointed when I received the book when the actual order that I first placed was for the DVD of the PBS presentation of the book of the same name. About two days after I ordered the DVD which is an exceptionally well balanced presentation of the competition and rivalry between ALL of the manufacturers of Farm Equipment and Tractors along with a balanced analysis of who the players in that field were along with their fundamental relationships to the Agricultural Culture in America only from the end of the Civil War until the end of WWII.... The huge gaps are the transitions that occurred post WWII and I have relatives who were among the losers and winners of the great changes in the prices of tractors, combines, and tilling equipment. Unfortunately, the book is written and edited by mostly shirttail relatives of the John Deere Family and so there is a bias that is not relevant if one grew up in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho or even Washington. Kind Regards., Edward Tilton

Like Huffman's book, it is a good photographic history of the areas surrounding Miles City

Shout Triple-Acting Laundry Stain Remover 128 Fl. Oz Refill + 22 Fl. Oz. Trigger

Works better than all the others but watch out for rising prices!!!
I've been using Shout since my Mother's caregiver got me started. I use a lot more than is reccommended because it works so well. I was happiest when I found it at bargain basement prices but I continue to buy it even though the price is much higher now just because it is a superior cleaner.
