One of the all time great hunting knives!
2 of 2 found this helpful This knife is a classic from the old school. It continues on because of the useful design of the blade and handle. I've used mine to field dress and skin deer and hogs, as well as break them down and bone them out. I've even killed some hogs that were caught by dogs with mine.
Useful in camp as well to make tinder, put points on sticks and prepare some food items. You'll see lots of similar knives, but only this one has that distinctive sweep up to the trailing point, the wide midsection and the full thickness of steel almost to the point. I have two and have given others as gifts and that's high praise right there. You just can't go wrong with the Schrade Woodsman!

Great EDC knife at a great price!
Kershaw makes great stuff and this Emerson design is no exception. Super value for the dollar as this knife far outperforms the price point. Better get yours before their gone or the price goes up to match the quality. Also, mine came from the factory hair shaving sharp, which is unusual, in my experience.

Solid edc knife - handy and reliable
The Kershaw Clash is a top-notch carry knife, light in the pocket and sturdy and sharp in the hand. It came pretty sharp and I had it shaving sharp in about two minutes work. Powerful opening mechanism means it always snaps out ready to go. One hand opening and closing is easy. I especially like the subtle recurve in the edge geometry that boosts the cutting power. The Clash is always a good choice for a useful gift, whis is why I bought it. Of course, I already had my own!
