Works with Linux
Unlike some other cards I tried, this card worked perfectly with Linux. Card and drives were detected without having to do anything. It has a header for connecting a disk activity LED, too. That was a nice touch.

Earlier editions are a better deal
1 of 1 found this helpful I already owned the 1st edition of this book, but a lot of content was added to the 3rd edition, so I decided to buy it. If I was a student strapped for cash, this would have been a bad deal. None of the new content is closely related to the video course. It's just information about French history, geography and culture written in French. So if your purpose for buying the book is to help understand the video course, the 1st edition, which can be had for less than $5, is just as good.

It solved my problem
My Insight engine was surging at certain throttle settings. This is a know symptom of a bad EGR. Some Insight owners claim that the EGR valve for a 1999 Accord works perfectly on the Insight. The Accord EGR valve is $50, the Insight valve is about $200. I was tempted to try the $50 solution, but ultimately bought the correct part. If this happens again, I'm going to try the cheaper Accord valve.
