Just like name brand
They try and lure you into buying these expensive HDMI cables but these work just as well.
They tell gold plated and its thiker and so one but I've used these for years without issue for various televisions and devices. Admiringly some have stopped working, surely not as many that still do. That can be said for any product really, though

As Much Fun as I Recall it Being as a Child
As a kid my daad and I spotted a different version of this, also made by Duncan, and it made him recall his childhood memories using wooden ones. He wanted to share that joy with me and bought it and I just loved it. Grew up thinking about these and trying to find them, as much searching I came across this. Improved and much more durable than what I had as a kid.
It can sure take some heavy impact and can last quite a bit. The bearing tip allows for it to spin for long periods of time. I recommend a smooth surface to preserve the tip and as always pctice makes perfect.

Delighted but dissapointed
I bought this some time ago and was very pleased considering I have had scans of my brain and could look at it in slices similar to this on a disk. It's extremely cool looking, but over time when using it can build up varying gunk (dried fluids and finger prints) and after cleaning ended up peeling part of a sticker off which was dissapointing. A clear seal layer should be placed over them to prevent such thngs from happening. Basically any condensation from your cold drink drops on the coaster and of course the sticker ends up abosrbing it over time which is why it peeled a portion of the sticker off while i whiped it dry. Even more so the moisture creates a seal, so when you go to pick up your drink the coaster comes with it, if only for a second, and falls. They glass is rather strong, though; after various falls it didnt crack or break in any way.
They are more functional as decoration than as actual coasters otherwise be prepared to buy a second set to replace any that may peel or possibly breal which is what I've done.
I enjoy them enough to have purchased a 2nd set, but place a napkin over them when in use and switch out any I have problems with from the 1st set I bought. I also purchased a 3rd set strickly for decoration.
I speak from my experience only so others may have not had similar problems.
