Convenient place for breeding and raising
I had received this product just at the right time, because at the same time I had just received two female plakat betta I had ordered online.
I have a large tank dedicated to the females, but the ones that had arrived were too small to live with the other females.
So I have had them in here for a good while now with the divider on and they look very healthy because the water is constantly moving so you don't see any fin tear due to stagnant water, or having to change the water frequently.
They are growing fast as well, so they will be able to join the colony as soon as they are big enough.
I am using a whisper 60 air pump to power it and it works good. Water movement is good. And finally when the females are out I will then use it to breed the same betta.
This is not really big, I have a fifteen gallon aquarium and it sits on the far right hand side of it. And it does not occupy that much space of the right hand side of the tank.
It is very clear, and you also do not have to clean it very much inside and out. So it is very self efficient.
The air adjusting valve is big so it makes it easy to adjust the air flow thus the water flow as well.

Bigger than expected
Okay so I ordered a 25w thinking it was going to fit my small 3.5g but it ended up being a little bigger than expected. I guess I should have read more into the specs for dimensions.
But fortunately for me I have another aquarium which is much larger and needed a heater with more accurate manual adjustments so this is doing the job more than perfect.
The light that indicates it is heating is really big and bright so you know when it is on. And the water is very close to perfect on indication when it comes to temperature, basically what reads on the heater is what is on the thermometer.
And it has a gorgeous shape, so I really recommend this sturdy heater.
