Wonder Showzen: The last gasp of MTV's rebel spirit
Wonder Shozen is a parody of all the mainstream children's shows most of us grew up watching, taking inspiration it seems mainly from classic PBS fare such as Sesame Street-complete with dark copies of Jim Henson's "Muppets", but also other pop culture references that will be easily recognized by members of Generation X. The disclaimer at the beginning of each episode of Wonder Showzen warns that its' content is not made for the eyes of children, and if you allow a child to watch, you are a bad parent or guardian. That is absolutely true, most adults probably shouldn't watch it either because if you're looking for a safe place, it does not exist in the "universe" of Wonder Showzen, everything is up for grabs and insulted equally. Wonder Showzen is irreverent, has no filter, and has no hint of political correctness in it, and as you watch each segment of the show, and they become more shocking than the last, you find yourself asking, "Dear Lord, from what mind does this leap?" But for all its' thorns and jabs, you have to respect the subtle intelligence of the series and how well-written it truly is. As dirty as the show can be, and at times make one feel uncomfortable, you find that the reason why you feel uncomfortable is because the show is telling a good deal of truth, and people tend to not like that or thinking too hard about things that require a little introspection for fear of what they may find out about themselves and their ideas. I fervently wish that MTV would make more programming like this and bring back other classics like "Liquid Television" and "Aeon Flux", back when they had some intestinal fortitude and actually took risks failure or not.

Everything and more!
The BCW comic boxes, actually all their products made for archival protection are the gold standard for this genre of collecting. The boxes are sturdy and manufactured in a manner in which their construction, when assembled, is sturdy enough to stack multiple boxes on top of one another with no damage to boxes below which is beneficial to those who wish to conserve what might be a limited storage space. It is true that BCW products are a bit more expensive than other brands or generic collectors' suppliers, but you get what you pay for, and buying BCW is *more* than well worth the extra expenditure because of the quality and durability of all of the products they make, especially archival long, short, and magazine boxes for storage. When it comes down to it, spending a little extra money to get a good quality item is wiser than buying something cheaper and not having the extra protection that a superior item possesses. I am currently in the process of buying BCW long boxes and other types to replace the current poorer quality long boxes that are storing my collections now.

This item looks nice, but that a piece of garbage!
I don't usually write product reviews, but if I save someone some time and money, it is worth the effort.
This shifter boot is poorly constructed, flimsy, and to say it is difficult to work with is an UNDERSTATEMENT. For what should have been an easy, less than five minute installation, I wasted at least an hour trying to get this shifter boot to fit on my car until I finally managed to destroy the worthless thing.
It wasn't any fault of mine, either, I bought this item after checking and double checking the fitment to my model and year of car. If you don't have enough aggravation in your life, you're in the mood to waste over twenty dollars, love to curse like a sailor on leave, or are looking for inspiration to create some new swear words to use in the shop to impress your friends........then this piece of absolute and total pile of trash shifter boot is definitely for you!
