HP 5188-7736 Embedded 802.11 b/g Wireless Card

Part not recognized

My computer is not recognizing it (5188-7736) and, as a result hp will not allow me to download the driver for it......... I am running Windows 7 64-bit. The part comes up in device manager as an unknown device, therefore HP will not let me download the driver. Says my system does not meet the minimum requirements. I am figuring maybe it’s a faulty part because I have had one installed before on this very same system running win 7
