Western Beat
Armed with a super tight backing band that includes the talented Michael Henderson on telecaster and other all stars at every position Kevin Welch shows off his songwriting and singing chops on this solo debut.
Gary Nicholson and others collaborate with Kevin on writing here. The songs are well structured with good country rock harmonies on the up-tempo numbers. Slower ones are well crafted and enjoyable too.
Some of the songs sound a little dated now, but all in all a very enjoyable set from Kevin Welch.

Just what I needed...does the job, no wires, easy to install and looks great
This is a well designed and easy to install light. I like the swivel adjustment to each of the two lamps independently as well as the flexibility to dim or brighten the light as needed. Just installed so I can't speak to the battery life. However,
battery changes should be relatively easy since the fixture is easily removed and reinstalled on the two mounting screws. The built in level on the mounting bracket is a nice touch and helpful for initial install. I used a small nail to make a starter hole for the screws rather than dragging out my electric drill which really isn't needed.
Although the lamp can be controlled from the fixture itself, the remote control is necessary for me since the lamp is mounted up on the wall lighting a painting over my bed. The remote is quite small and I used the provided double sided Velcro to attaché the remote to the side of my bedside table for easy access. They provide a remote holder which can be screw mounted but the Velcro alone works fine for me.
My only disappointment is with the range of the remote control which seems to only work when held 3 to 4 feet from the fixture. Still, I suppose that is where I will primarily be using it. Overall I am very pleased with the quality, design and function of this fixture and would recommend it to others. I especially like having no wires running down the wall and the sleek appearance.
