Much better with than without.
This receiver is way underpowered and likes definition particularly in the mid range spectrum. I fried three channels on my Sony 3200 ES receiver and have not had tunes nor movie sound for months. This certainly is far better than not. Comparatively, the ES was superb and powered my Cerwin Vega mains , surrounds, and sub woofer easily with impeccable sound quality and power. This Onkyo is no comparison in any level. Again, I had hoped for better quality and certainly more power. I do have music and movie surround again but my expectations were to tall of an order for the Onkyo HT R2295. For the price I paid, in comparison to what Sony’s ES line is running currently, I received a deal and the Onkyo does fill the void. Much better than not.

Light M&P Thumb Safety
This is what my M&P 2.0 needed. It is old school for sure but with a round chambered, for me, a must. There are two camps of opinion on thumb safety’s. I am used to a safety on auto’s and have found that a quick flick off on presentation takes no more time than if I did not have the safety. The added assurance the safety offers me was well worth the price. Super easy installation and it works well. One problem with it hence the four stars, the spring is a bit light. I have found my safety clicked off a bunch by my holsters when holstering my autos. The spring is really to light with little resistance to bumps by clothing, holsters, or really any pressure to the on/off thumb safety. So, all in all, I am happy to have the functioning safety but keep an eye on it.
