Zero stars. Useless. Buy Wilson gauge instead.
Not very useful. The case neck stops at a ridge about 1/4 inch inside the gauge, and there is no indication where the shoulder is. Since 30-06 headspaces on the shoulder, the gauge should reference the shoulder and show how high or low the neck is relative to that. I searched Hornady website and there are no instructions on how they intend this to be used. Save your money and just buy the Wilson gauge. Zero stars.
