Review on Sony TV 740. The 740 probably the best 7" portable on the markit in 1971. I got my origanal one from my grandpa in November of 1972.

This TV could pick up stations on good old fashioned analog TV. From over 250 miles away if the atmospheric conditions are write.
In the summer from middle of June till Early September. I would get what was called a sporadic E Skip on channels 2 3 4 6. One was from Moose Jaw, Sascathuwa Canada. Another from Columbia,
The TV had the clearist BW picture I have ever seen.
So who ever gets a set like this has a classic TV DX machine.
