Get more than one!
These magazines are worth the extra money compared to competitive brands. My smith and wesson pro series came from the factory with this magazine. I have a dozen 1911 style pistols in a variety of calibers and of all my magazines these are the most sturdy (not just 1911 style either). They make a great .45 ACP magazine as well, my dad uses one for his 1960's Colt commander.
