Always keep it in my bag.
Great general filter for a modest boost in contrast and color separation with only a modest loss in light. I find that I'm generally accounting for -2 stops rather than -1.5 stops, but this probably varies with film and how exact you are with metering.
A middle-yellow filter is especially useful for films that tend towards lower contrast (like TMax). When shooting with higher contrast films, especially films that already separate out reds and greens (Fomapan 100) I tend to leave it off.

Reliable watch, classic styling
7 of 7 found this helpful I'm not a watch collector, but I wanted something rugged enough to wear every day that could still be stylish enough to wear on formal occasions with a different strap. This works perfectly. Clean minimalist styling. Unobtrusive branding. A nice size, diameter and thickness, on smaller to average wrists. Keeps good time and as long as I remember to wind it in the morning and before I go to bed, never dies on me. This has replaced my Seiko 5 as my favorite watch.

Works well, good value for money.
I bought this to use with an Amscope trinocular dissecting scope and it works well. I didn't notice any chromatic aberration or other optical issues. Since I'm using a Pentax dSLR, I bought a t2-K mount adapter and it fit right up. If you have issues with your scope, you should be sure to adjust the camera up or down (my microscope has a metal ring for this) since the correct focal point for this seems to be different than the eyepiece. Once adjusted, both are in focus simultaneously with no issues.
