Went With The Wind
This special Barbie celebrates the 50-year commemoration of the hilarious skit from the Carol Burnett Show. That skit was so funny that when Carol, who played Scarlet O’Hara, made a dress from the curtains in the window of Tara, the audience went crazy. The skit had to be stopped for the audience was laughing so hard and so long. It was the longest timed laughter in show business history.
This Barbie is Carol Burnett dressed in that priceless dress down to the smallest detail. The face of Barbie is Carol Burnett. It is amazing how detailed the doll is. I am thrilled beyond words. It arrived in the original box and has never been opened. My 90-year-old Mother has loved Carol since she first burst on the television. Mom never missed a show. Went With The Wind was her most favorite episode and is still available on YouTube. When the doll arrived, I took it to my parents’ house. I played that special skit for Mom and she laughed as hard as the first time she viewed it. Then, I brought out the doll and had her open the cardboard box in which it arrived. The look on her face was the look of a little girl who received her most-beloved doll on Christmas morning. It was so priceless to me and will be a memory I will treasure forever! Mom was overwhelmed with emotion. Her health is precarious and she doesn’t have many good days. But, this doll has changed that for her. I displayed it on the mantle of the fireplace, which is next to where Mom’s chair where she spends her days. It has lifted her spirits beyond anything has done for her. The box is positioned so that Mom can view it constantly. One may wonder why someone might purchase this iconic doll for an older woman. I can tell you that it is the greatest thing I have ever done for her and that is no exaggeration.

Love these sandals
I can only wear Vionic sandals due to plantar fasciitis in both feet. These sandals are dressy and casual!
