Extreme fighting fun!
Tekken is a fantastic fighting game. It's not all stupid gore and repeated special moves. It has just the right amount of realism and impossible physics. No "fireball" type moves like in street fighter and the like but some moves such as the hunting hawk, while looking quite cool, are not physically possible, at all. But I love it anyway. The new additions in characters are ok I suppose. Asuka annoys me though and I would rather they just brought back Jun instead of adding this little brat since she has some similar moves. Feng is a very nice addition though. Raven seems a bit poserish to me but he's ok too I suppose. The story line seems to suffer a bit in each sequel. Some of the stories are retarded. Jinpachi (the final boss) is definitaly a challenge. Far more than Heihachi or Unknown used to be. Which wouldn't be so bad except for the cheapness of a few of his moves. One thing that was great about tekken was that unlike some other fighting games the computer AI didnt massively cheat. Jinpachi comes pretty close to breaking this tradition though. He shoots fire out of his stomache and it takes away literally half of your life bar. It's unblockable, he does it alot, and it really ticks you off. That and his move that freezes you in a confused stupor and leaves you at his mercy. That being said, he is quite hard yes, but some who left reviews on here claiming that you cannot beat him must be pretty bad at tekken. You can almost beat him just by doing repeated low kicks. That and when he knocks you on the ground be sure to do the roll to the side move alot because he has brutal "okizime" type moves. (For those that don't know okizime is the art of not letting your opponent get up) I've had the game a few days and have beat him with every character in the game, including the new characters of whom I didn't even know their moves. Comes with Tekken 1 2 and 3 so a real bargain! Although I only play 5 anyway. Havent played Devil within mode too much, I've never been in to the side games very much. But tekken bowl was the bomb!
All that being said, you do need to take time to learn some moves for this fighter or you will not have fun. If all you do is button mash in your fighters get super smash bros not Tekken.

Highly overrated.
0 of 2 found this helpful The entire Gran Turismo series is awful. Despite all the 13 year-old's opinions, who have coincidentally never driven a car, the physics are not realistic at all. This game is all hype and graphics. Great for posers. Bad for people who want a fun racing game. It takes way too much practice time to race well. It's like a nagging homework assignment. Don't buy it.
