Ferguson Manifold
When installing you may need to grind extra clearance to get sockets or a wrench on the manifold stud nuts. Also be sure to keep the small plug from the intake side of your old manifold as one is not included with this new one. And the plug is not a common size you can buy here in the USA.

Needs modification.
Unit works very well but electrical lug is too wide to fit wiring harness connector on JD165. Had to trim side of lug. Not hard to do.

Could Be Better
1 of 1 found this helpful The alternator is much improved and starts charging at a much lower rpm than older models. The instructions are not written for a novice but are adequate for the semi professional. Now for the lower alternator bracket, it does not fit the Ferguson TO20. The bracket is designed to fit over a 2" and should have been made for a 2-1/4" base. Next the offset of the bracket only needs to be 3/4". You are better off making your own.
