1 of 1 found this helpful My daughter still managed to break it, but she's a bull in a china shop, so I don't blame the pot. I bought another one to replace it. That's how much we like it. I don't recommend it for electric coil stovetop, but they say it will work with the flimsy adapter thingy, which is probably very easy to lose. I have a glass cooktop, and this works very nicely. If you are using gas, keep the flame low as the plastic handle on this pot is very close to the burner. The whistle is a little weird, but it works. The only downside to me, is that you have to remove the lid to pour. Small price to pay, and it actually is useful for crimping tea bag strings, so good trade. :-)
