Doesn't work on metal lids.
We bought it to open one particular jar of beetroot that was annoying us. It wouldn't grip the metal lid and just slid off, we all tried.
The jar of beetroot was eventually thrown away!!

Not the best for cleaning
It makes the hob plate a nice silver/gun metal colour.
However I don’t think it’s great as a cleaner, my hob plate's were used in a rental property, and were highly rusted and burnt. This did very little to clean the plates. Elbow grease and scraping was the best result.
But it did finish the plates off nicely and covered any left rust and burns. Whether it protects the plates, don’t know, but I’m hoping it lives up to its claims.

Great little whistle
What can you say, it's a whistle and it works, sturdy, loud and does the job. Whether it works with your dog is completely dependent upon your training.
