Solid and versatile passive bass guitar
A great, stylish, no-fuss bass guitar, well worth the price, if paying around £150.
Pros are:- solid modern profile neck, good pickups, contoured body and, of course, price.
Cons are no shielding - so some hum at times, no height adjust at the bridge and some neck-dive. I sorted mine by replacing the bridge (with a low-cost alternative) and by adding lead fishing-net weights to the control cavity.
I have some fine boutique basses, but this one is hard to beat for fun - and fact that it sounds and looks great, too. Enjoy!

One for fans (or newbies)
This ticks the boxes for an overall flavour as well as a one-off performance. Do not expect club bangers - this is seriously ambient, but none the worse for it. Genuinely interesting if you are at all in to the Orb or even simply the idea of the Orb, but possibly not one to put on repeat or keep in the car.

A modern sound from a classic band
An excellent return to form with current line up for Gill/King. Spiky pop beefed up rather than trying to emulate early spartan agit-pop. Similar themes as of old makes for the 4/5 rather than 5/5, but nevertheless an engaging album with some very catchy hooks and beats. Recommended for old and new fans alike.
