A Definitive Work.
Any student of History, of Art, both prfessional scholar and layman cannot do without reading and referring to one of the foremost biographer's of the Renaissance Artisans, Georgio Vasari. Both Volumes One and Two read almost as novels, the reader is engrossed into the lives of those persons whose contributions to Western culture lead to the Enlightenment which is applicable today in understanding ourselves and adding perspective to our own times.
