Excellent starter book on Manga
It's an excellent source for the origins and (up to the early 1980s) popularity of Japanese manga, from an expert in the field. Even has four manga from the 1970s to give an example of what was out there.

Works flawlessly.
Works as advertised. While the product is lighter than a regular SNES would be (which makes sense, given the power supply doesn't need to be as chunky as one from 1991), my 2nd Gen SNES works flawlessly with it. Very happy with it.

A Great Early Overview of Horror in the Mass Media
I first read this book back when I was in high school in the late 1970s...really enjoyed it. It has a variety of short stories by the likes of Ambrose Bierce, Edgar Allen Poe, Lord Dunsany and H. P. Lovecraft, but also delves into its subject matter, dealing with horror in mass media; the shows, movies, magazines, books and comics like EC horror (reprints "Model Nephew" by Jack Davis) and Famous Monsters of Filmland. All in all, while this book is nearly 50 years old and mass media has went far beyond the scope of this book, I believe it is still a great source of the beginnings of the genre. Plus to me it is worth if for the sheer nostalgia factor alone.
