A must for your pontoon boat
I wish I'd gotten this when we first bought our boat. My only complaint is that they sent the wrong instruction manual. They sent the one for the transom mount, and mine is a deck mount. Even without the instructions, It was simple to mount and attach to the battery. I did some research, and the general consensus was to mount it on the front, dead center. That's what we did, but really I think you could offset it if that blocks the door. Now it's so easy to maneuver in and out of the dock! It seems to have a good bit of power, even with a heavy boat. I recommend getting a separate battery for the trolling motor and not using the same battery as the main one for the boat. I got a big battery and also a solar-powered trickle charger. We went several miles, all on the trolling motor, without running out of juice. There was no wind at all, and it was very cool gliding along. Not sure if it would be able to pull against a stiff wind, but really that's not what it's designed to do. Overall, I like it.

Great so far
arrived early, well packaged, works great. I watched a couple of youtube vids, and was very careful, and the install went well. I paniced when I turned on the phone and nothing happened, but I found another vid that show how to do a reset of the phone. Battery life on my phone is better than I ever remember.
