Good for FM transmitters and SwR meters.
Ieded this to connect the FM user CA200 antenna to my SWR meter.

Cord is Too Short only 6 Inches.
Worked on my Tecsun PL 380 as expected. I was able to power and charbe my NiMH batteries inside the Radio. The cord from the adapter is very short and physically attached to the adapter so to put the Radio on a table if your electrical socket is lower than 6 inches you'll need an extension cord just to use the adapter. I think one could buy a 6Ft USB to mini USB cord instead and use your existing smartphone adapter to do the same as I maybe should had. Hope in the future a longer cord will come with this adapter.

Pure Junk on AM, No C-Quam, HD only if on top of a station, Not good for Album Rock too base heavy
1 of 1 found this helpful Very Poor AM reception I mean pure Junk. Can't even pull in a station 30 miles away with a Terk AM Advantage loop connected to this Radio and this loop works on my Tecsun PL-380 and other Radios. I bought this Radio because many folks and sources claim it decodes C-Quam AM Stereo. Maybe if your on top of a 50-100 thousand watt station and 5 miles away. Seriously I run a part 15 Radio station (Search youtube for The Legacy 1640 Khz) and you'll see my review of this Radio. I wanted to tell my listeners how they can receive C-Quam but they'll have to buy a SonySRF-A100, Realistic TM-152, or a Sony SRF-A1 for that and use the AUX to amplify it.
FM is a bit better than average my Tecsun PL-380 blows this Radio out of the water for FM. I bought it for HD and I can only pick up Album Rock stations in HD during a strong temperature inversion which makes the ducting effect. Truly for HD again maybe a 50-100 thousand watt Radio station in your back you'll have a chance for that. The sensitivity on FM needs to be 0.9-1 UV for HD so you'll need a Wineguard CH8098 antenna a Huge outside antenna for HD Radio.
