Nice unit, but...
The unit was offered in 110 and 120 volt models. The line voltage here is 121-122 volts so I ordered the 120 volt unit. The output voltage is 126-127, so it's a little high for a "120 volt" unit. Had I known the output voltage was this high, I would have ordered the "110 volt" unit which probably is closer to 116 volts and a better option for most uses.
It does come with adequately sized if somewhat short cables.
It does produce 500 watts as it can light a 500 watt halogen lamp with no problems.
I used the "Make offer" option and got the unit for $80. I got my money's worth.

Very good panel
0 of 2 found this helpful The panel does deliver the rated 5+ amps. Tested with a PWM controller and a flooded 12 volt battery of about 80AH. Tested by connecting a 50 watt, 12 volt incandescent bulb to the fully charged battery (13.8V float) with a DC ammeter is series with the positive solar panel lead. As the battery voltage dropped, the solar current rose to its rated max.

It's a genuine Dell power supply
The title says it all. The laptop does NOT pop up the "Can't identify power supply" message at boot as it does with some of the less expensive "new" but not fully compatible units. A used genuine Dell supply is within a dollar or two of the cost if the cheap imports and will last almost forever - I have several that are 10 years old and still working. The power supply only gets warm at full load. In other words, it works as you expect a new Dell power supply to work.
