ok.....i think
I have not used them on the range. I tried them on and they defintely muffle sound. I am disappointed with them in that they fit over my head pretty tightly. As with most such units they were advertised as basically, one size fits all, heads. I wear size 81/4 hats and hoped these would work comfortably. They are wearable, but snug over the top of my head. I did not see any size options when I ordered but these seemed to have the endorsement of other "big heads."
I am anxious to see how they feel with an hour's wear and how they muffle sound. I hope to try them out next week. In the meantime, I like them......I think.

good idea--good product
It wasn't better than expected, but it was as good as I expected. I made one mistake of putting bore cleaner on the wrong part of the snake and got it stuck for a while in the barrel of the gun. I was able to extract it but in the process pulled the little brass thing off the end of the string. Now after all that I still say it is a good product. I have one for my nine mm pistol, also. I still have a hidden urge to use a wire brush and cloth patches.
