Great replacement
3 of 3 found this helpful I purchased this boiler to replace a very old pitted boiler in my Gaggia Classic (2006).
It was simple to fit to my current group head and it worked quite well from its first boil.
The one aspect where the new boiler differs from the original boiler is where the steam thermostat mounts. The original boiler had a mount that tapped directly into the boiler, whereas the new boiler has a ring with a mounting point that sits off the side of the boiler. This variation doesn't seem to impact the performance of the boiler. When in steam mode my aftermarket thermocouple displays 130-140c, it produces great steam to heat milk for latter or cappuccino.
