Still a great computer!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you look at the specs between the 2010 and today's newer models, you'll see the only real difference is that the newer model has a faster GPU, thinner display, and better screen resolution. The 2010 still has a great display, very clear and vivid. The GPU in the 2010 model is only 256mb unlike the new model sporting a GPU between 1-3 gb. When using the 2010 model for gaming, you'll notice the 256mb GPU, because your game will lag. As long as you modify some graphic settings in your games, it would work decent. Also, instead of gaming on the computer itself, try using a cloud gaming service, I use Vortex and I'm about to run GTA V on my 2010 MacBook with no issues at all. If you want an iMac without paying thousands of dollars, go with the 2010 model, still a great computer and the only physical difference is the thickness.
