Defective Design - Will Damage Your Car!
I purchased one of these items in early 2016 and after attempting to remove it from my CD slot, about 10 months later, it was FUSED to my CD slot. I literally could not pull it out with my hands - it was completely stuck!
The rubber coating that goes into the slot got sticky over time and actually fused/got stuck to the inner parts of my CD slot, including the hair-like "fuzz" that protects the opening of the slot. After an hour of finagling and carefully pulling with pliers, I was able to remove the mount; however, it damaged the hair-like "fuzz" and left sticky residue at the opening of my CD player.
I contacted TechMatte over a month ago via eBay messages and they have not responded.
Use with caution!!!
