Wouldn't recommend

Worked great until it was time to sharpen it. Not sure what it's covered with, (wood unlikely) because it sharpened in large chunks, splintering the edges and crumbling the pencil. I had to use a Q-tip to clean the inside of my sharpener, which by the way, the larger side hadn't been used much at all. Then the edges splintered around the product itself deeming it unsafe for use.
