It Doesn’t Move!
I’ve had a nightmare with every suction type phone holder in my Volvo V50. They all stick great for a few days, then spring off when I’m driving. I attach my phone holders on the dashboard which has a slight curve to it, but when it gets really hot under the sun the sticky cup must expand and lose its grip. Nothing seemed to work to make it stick for more than a few days so I needed something else.
Having done some research, one of these weighted ‘Bean bag’ type holders seemed to get good reviews so I decided to make a punt on £13 to see what happened.
It literally hugs my dashboard and the phone holder hasn’t lost its suction on the plastic disc installed in the centre. It doesn’t move or slide on cornering and leaves me in no doubt of its ability to do the job. It’s not the most aesthetically looking item, but who cares? It’s better to have a weird looking mass on the dash than watch your phone fall off every 5 minutes.

Small, sleek & simple music playing phone
If you don't live an i-life, want a beautifully designed phone that makes a small footprint in your pocket and plays music, then you won't find better than an Ericsson Walkman phone. It even plays AAC files so you don't have to be tied into pathetic MP3's.
If the thought of becoming a member of the Apple sheepfarm seems too much like generic social conformity, then an Ericsson will make a subtle understatement whilst providing you with the facility to communicate and listen to your music.
Don't forget, phone memory is also expandable and the Sony software provided will also synchronise and backup your phone data, as well as sychronising your MS Outlook contacts and calendar.
Ericsson for life!

Can't Tell if They Work!
Purchased these to replace like-for-like in a set of cheap garden solar lights but after a few weeks of assumed charging, the lights still don't work! Of course, the electrics in the unit may well not be working any more so I'm inclined to think it's not the batteries at fault. The batteries are no doubt cheap and probably have a limited lifespan, but they would surely charge if they were receiving the instructions to do so. So I can neither recommend them or not recommend them.
