Late-period classic from a horror master
Don't let the negative critical reception fool you, "My Soul to Take" is one of the most engaging and off-the-wall films of "Sultan of Shock" Wes Craven's long career. It's a bonkers, tonally shifty, and radically atmospheric ride that's fun enough to offer you a good time whether you think it's a misunderstood masterpiece of empathetic horror or a ridiculous bargain-bin slasher. Highly recommended.
