Jacquard acid dye works excellent so far for dyeing a vintage wool skirt.
Jacquard dyes are easy to use, I mean, really easy. After years of using other mainstream fabric dyes, the content is USA made, the colors on the fabrics are gorgeous, rich and colorfast, meaning by leaving them in the fabric long enough, they rinse out with very little dye in the rinse water. I will definitely be trying their fabric dye products (natural and acid type) for several future projects and continue eyeing the results. I am glad I discovered this brand in an art supply store, and found the ACID dyes on eBay, because they weren't available in-store.
