this book will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Kaleidoskopes but were afraid to ask ;) no seriously, this book is so informative, that it is totaly sadisfying all your questions ... and your sense of beauty too!

... plessantly surprized, by now a neccesary collection stable!
This Barbie doll is an important link in a collection, if you are interested in authentic german "Trachten" clothing, because it shows the latest development of the usually very traditional bavarian "Dirndl" dress. Not every german woman, that likes to wear Dirndls, will wear this version, with the short skirt, over the knee stockings, high heels and off the shoulder blouse with plunging decollete. But you certainly can see it being worn at the beer fests, by the younger generation of women. This doll has an authentic and detailed look, which the previous "Doll of the World" German styled Barbies didn't have (those Dirndls and dolls were very disappointing, compared to other nationality's clothing the "DotW" collection depicts), I'm a German and a Barbie collector and I know and I can only say, you have to have this doll in your collection! :) B.

simple concept
I like how wide and long the bed is and I like the simple concept of this furniture-design and I like how the bed is being put together! The only reason why it isn't getting 5 stars, is because it isn't strong and sturdy enough to withstand enthusiastic childs-play. Also I thought the mirror-table and chair pictured would come along with the bed. And in my oppinion the bed should be white like the table and chair frames, it would look more natural like real furniture then. I cut a "matraze" out of the packaging-material which wraped the bed. this is helpful, since the bed doesn't come with a matraze ... an other minus point. To make the bed complete you realy have to sew pillows, sheets and blankets yourself.
