Great upgrade
The semi-rigid strap makes taking the headset on and off easy, and the twist-to-tighten knob makes getting the right fit hassle free. I like to have friends over to play VR, and we all have different size heads, so not having to mess with the velcro straps makes switching in and out easy.
I did run into one issue when installing the DAS, but it was a problem with my headset, not the DAS. When trying to take off the stock strap, I couldn't get it to come off on the left side. I ended up just prying it off, and everything seemed fine, but after attaching the DAS, the connector fell apart. Luckily it was just a matter of the screw coming loose, so I just has to reassemble, and tighten the screw. It required a very small Allen wrench, but I luckily had one on hand.
