  I received the razor promptly after my purchase. What I got in the mail wasn't what is advertised in the photo. I'd never scene this razor before, so I contacted Giesen & Forsthoff. They told me the razor was produced and sold to a private seller in the States and that it was an authentic product. The quality of the blade is good but the scales were a little off when the blade is in the closed position the edge passes through the bottom and is exposed. Overall, I was satisfied given the price.

  Seller took a few days to ship the straight razor otherwise straight razor is new and exactly as described. Better model actually then I thought the straight razor was prior to receiving the straight razor. I would highly recommend this straight razor as it's a fantastic price for a no nonsense fantastic straight razor.
