Morrison's masterpiece. One of the best Batman stories out there.
Batman RIP is one of the best Batman stories out there. It is absolutely brilliant! Ever since Batman issue #655, Grant Morrison has been planting plot-point seeds that all culminate and pay off within RIP. There are so many fantastic moments within the story, as well as easter eggs that pay off in Grant Morrison's Batman & Robin series as well as The Return of Bruce Wayne mini-series.
There are so many details hiding within this story. The esoteric way that Grant Morrison writes, makes Batman RIP built for re-reads. It just keeps getting better and better every time you read it.
