Glorious GPBT ANSI Mechanical Keyboard Keycaps (Black Ash)
Jun 11, 2023
Very nice, just not for the MSRP.
I really like these keycaps... for the price I paid for them. I don't think they're good for the MSRP. they're personally a little clacky for my tastes. I think if you have a smoke acrylic case on your keyboard then these look really good on it.
EVGA Z15 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Hot Swappable Keys (Kailh Speed Silver)
Feb 22, 2023
A great keyboard that punches way above its weight.
I love the EVGA Z15 keybaord. If you're in the market for a 104 key keyboard you will love this board. The hot-swappable Kailh Silver Switches are awesome on a keyboard like this. Combined with a 4000ms polling rate, this keyboard performs better than much higher priced keyboards. If you don't like the switches or keycaps you can change them out (which I did with the keycaps, see pic). The Media keys and roll bar volume is also just like bonus. I would prefer this keyboard over some custom boards, like the ones from Glorious.
Glorious GMMK PRO 75% TKL Gaming Keyboard - Custom Hotswap Barebones (White Ice)
May 07, 2023
It's okay, but needs mods to really make it sing.
So, I bought the GMMK Pro, but I really knew the flaws that they supposedly had. So, when I had the opportunity to purchase it for 99 dollars I thought it would be worth it. However, in order to make this keyboard really work, unfortunately you really need to buy and install the FlexKit and replace those really awful stabilizers. Which, I don't know where in the production lineup this originally came from, were really bad. (They don't really do their job at all) In this particular case, I basically ended up using just the PCB. I bought the Flex kit, the Navy Blue top frame, the Polycarbonate plate and the Navy Blue knob for it. Once that was done, it was a completely different keyboard. I was able to get a better sound out of the Monsgeek M2 and the Keychron Q5 (different profiles, but still valid comparisons for me). Also this left me with a nearly complete keyboard, but without a PCB. You need to order the Flex Kit to really make the gasket mount shine and that's an additional 70 dollars on top of the 170 dollars the keyboard costs (retail). I don't know that I would recommend it. I like it after all my mods, but I can't help but think that I could've gotten something better for cheaper. You can see the picture below with the Akko Ocean Star keycaps. (Very nice and really help with more of a thocky sound, if you're in to that)
