Sony WH-1000XM2 Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones - Black

Excellent lightweight headphones for all activities!

Quite possibly the finest pair of headphones I've ever used. I have a slim head so tend to use earbuds rather than over ear, these cinch down well enough to stay firm even when jogging, during climbing and other similarly vigorous activities. The ear pads are comfortable even for long time use (I have multiple piercings that are usually aggravated by over ear headphones, these don't aggravate and feel cushioned and comfortable), whilst the battery life is phenomenal, in the few weeks I've owned them despite daily (3-5 hour) use I've only fully charged them twice and they remain on the 50-70% battery life mark throughout. The noise-cancelling is equally excellent, I work in a busy capital city travelling through some of the busiest stations and roadways daily, these not only adjust on the fly (without me needing to do anything) but actively muffle and reduce the level of external noise-pollution, protecting my hearing and allowing me to listen at a lower volume without compromising the music/sounds coming through them. All in all I find it hard to put any bad points on these. Perhaps the sole one would be the standard price point of around £350-400 BUT as my first foray into top-end headphones and these being noted as the best on TechRadar's 2018 list (besting the equivalent Bose and even the more recent model of these same headphones) I was more than willing to pay out, it was certainly money well spent and they now travel with me everywhere.
