Great bass if you can fix it up yourself
The parts are good but they were sloppily put together, which is to be expected for the price. Fret ends were really sharp and had to be filed, then I glued down the frets and leveled them. Neck needed a shim to reduce the string action. Then I noticed that the strings weren't lined up properly with the poles of the pickups. To fix that, I needed to add a side shim to the neck to alter the angle and re-position the bridge so that the strings were aligned with the poles of the bridge pickup. Then I had to re-position the pick guard and control plate so that the neck pickup was aligned properly. The bridge pickup in mine was dead, so I had to replace that and I also replaced the electronics just for good measure. It was a lot of work but I am very happy with the results. Oh yeah, this is a very heavy bass too, weighing in at over 10 lb. If you had to pay a luthier to do this work, I have to guess that it would cost over $300.

Perfect replacement
Just used these to replaced the messed up channels in our 2006 Corolla and they went in a treat.
